Here are a few frequently asked questions

  1. Do we have to reserve?

    Yes, it is preferable to reserve since we only take 10 participants per class. It is possible to call last minute, however you run the risk of the class being full.

  2. How old must we be in order to do flying trapeze?

    Children must be at least 7 years old in order to participate. There is no maximum age.

  3. Do we have to be in great physical shape?

    No, simply a normal fitness level will suffice. Your weight must not exceed 210 lbs or 95 kilos. It is not recommended for women who are pregnant. If you have any medical conditions consult with your physician before hand and tell us when you arrive.

  4. How long are the daily classes?

    The daily classes are 2 hours long, you will fly a minimum of 7 times and 3 turns are reserved for catches.

  5. How should we dress to do flying trapeze?

    Long stretchy pants used for aerobics, biking or gymnastics are preferred however shorts can also do the trick. On your upper body, a T shirt or a sport top will do fine. Usually, trapeze is done barefoot, but you can wear socks or ballet type dance shoes.

  6. Can I wear my glasses or contact lenses?

    It is not recommended to wear glasses, if you must wear them, it will be necessary to have ropes to secure them to your face. There is no problem with contact lenses. Please note that we are not responsible for anything broken or lost

  7. How can we pay?

    You can pay either by using a personal check or cash. But there is an ATM within the Mathers Sports Center.

  8. Do you offer gift certificates?

    Yes. Our gift certificates can be purchased on site or by phone.
